Mountain biking through a wide grass trail then descends into a creek valley. Joins up with the John Muir Trail to combine the trip into a longer trip, can turn into a loop or figure 8 if you head out toward Chestnut Ridge. Isolated as most trails are in the BSF. Trailhead has a nice open area next to cemetery.
